Job summary

Young's Pubs is seeking a creative and entrepreneurial General Manager for the Alexander Pope in Twickenham. You will lead this pub with rooms through its exciting growth phase, taking ownership of food, events and guest experience while steering the team to success.

You will recruit and develop staff, set your own menu direction within a framework, and shape the customer journey with a proactive, hospitality-first mindset. This is a live-in role with significant bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Fresh food experience required.
• Proven general manager experience.
• Passion for hospitality and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pub-with-rooms operation and drive the business forward during a period of investment.
• Tailor the food offer and events strategy to guests, managing promotions and sales.
