Job summary

Alexander Pope in Twickenham is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead a pub with rooms, overlooking the Thames. You’ll oversee operations across the pub, garden, private rooms and 32 onsite bedrooms, and drive performance during a period of investment.

We want an entrepreneurial leader who will decide menus, events, recruitment and marketing, and empower the team to deliver outstanding service. We offer a generous package with up to £60k plus a substantial bonus, private health insurance,

Qualifications

• We require a proven track record as a General Manager in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience in running pub with rooms or similar hospitality concept.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of a busy pub and rooms, ensuring service excellence.
• Own recruitment, marketing, and events to drive revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and implement menus and promotions with autonomy within a quality framework.
