Nillion is humanity’s first Blind Computer. It is powered by a decentralized network of nodes that enables “Blind Computation” through the coordination and orchestration of privacy enhancing technologies (PETs) such as multi-party computation (MPC) and homomorphic encryption (HE). Nillion believes Blind Computation will become the internet’s base layer for all private data as PETs continue to mature. Nillion has attracted a notable initial cohort of Blind Computation builders across AI, DeFi, medical data, custody, wallets, global identity, messaging and much more.
As reported by TechCrunch, Nillion in the midst of the bear market of 2022 raised the highest valuation for a Seed Round reported in Q4-2022. The project has attracted some of the top talent in tech, including the Founder of Indiegogo (Slava Rubin), Associate General Counsel of Coinbase (Lindsay Danas Cohen), Co-Founder of Hedera Hashgraph (Andrew Masanto) and several other high profile team members.
As an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at Nillion, you will immerse yourself in the core of our company, understanding the technology, product vision, and strategic direction, while identifying opportunities to build a new business on top of Nillion’s network. This role is perfect for a technically fluent and strategically minded founder-type who wants to build an exciting business but needs time, resources, and exposure before launching.
You’ll work closely with our engineering, product, marketing, and ecosystem teams to conduct deep research, pressure test ideas, validate use cases, and ultimately lead the spinout of a new venture that leverages Nillion’s core technology. This is an initial 3 month contract, with the possibility to be extended to 9 months. We are accepting applications globally, as this is a 100% remote contract.
Program Structure
Months 0–3 | Deep Immersion
Learn Nillion’s technology, product, ecosystem, and market to identify high-potential venture ideas.
End of Month 3 | Opportunity Pitch & Review
Present a well-researched venture concept; a decision committee evaluates whether to continue with MVP development or conclude the EIR engagement.
Months 3–9 MVP | Development & Validation
If approved, build and test an MVP with early users; validate traction metrics like CAC, retention, and conversion.
After Month 9 | Venture Spinout Decision
Final review determines whether the concept becomes an independent company with Nillion’s support or concludes the EIR program.
Ongoing Support
For approved ventures, receive product guidance, investor introductions, and continued strategic support from Nillion.
