Job summary

Bulford St Leonard’s Church of England Primary School seeks an engaging KS1 Class Teacher for a part-time 0.4FTE role in the Year 1 class, starting January 2027. The school serves both military and local families and benefits from a strong Christian ethos and active learning approach.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver high-quality KS1 lessons, monitor progress, and contribute to safeguarding and positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in KS1/Year 1.
• Solid knowledge of the Primary Curriculum KS1 initiatives.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons and raise pupil attainment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Year 1 lessons and sequences.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing timely feedback.
