Job description

Enterprise Solutions Architect - 12 month FTC

You will beresponsible for designing fit-for-purpose solutions aligned with the enterprise architecture blueprint, while also helping to shape and embed the wider architecture strategy.

The role involves leading solution design across applications and technologies, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards. You will work closely with stakeholders to embed architectural thinking, assess emerging technologies, manage technology risks, and contribute to governance and strategic planning. You also will document architecture artefacts, support software selection, and maintain the Enterprise Architecture Repository to drive insight and adoption across the business.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

• Substantial experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, information security or operations;
• Has performed an Architecture role in a complex enterprise environment;
• Understanding of agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt;
• Exposure and understanding of existing, new, and emerging technologies, and processing environments;
• Knowledge of financial models and budgeting.
