University of Bath is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Architect to co-create sustainable, secure technology solutions across digital projects. You will help shape architecture standards and ensure solutions align with the university's long-term goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, translating business needs into scalable architectures, and upholding equity and inclusive digital design across the technology landscape.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of designing and delivering enterprise‑level solutions using SaaS, PaaS, COTS, and customised applications
• Hands‑on experience with integration patterns, cloud architecture, data flow, and designing for security and resilience
• Established capability of a broad technology landscape, including cloud‑based services, off‑the‑shelf systems, and custom applications
• A people‑focused approach to technology – you're as comfortable listening and engaging as you are designing

Looking for a role where your ideas and expertise can truly make a difference?

We're looking for an Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our Technology Delivery & Advice team. This is an important role, where you'll co-create technology solutions that serve the needs of our digital projects, ensuring they're sustainable, secure, and aligned with the University's long term goals.

You'll work closely with people from across the University to understand their needs, guide decision-making, and co-create solutions that are meaningful. As well as shaping how technology is applied, you'll also help build our shared architecture standards – contributing to a consistent, scalable, and people‑centred approach across our technology landscape.

Additional details

• This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis.


• This role includes a market supplement of £8,000 in addition to the base salary scale. The total salary range displayed above reflects the base salary plus market supplement.

Selection process

Once shortlisted candidates will be invited for the selection process as per the following dates

• Technical discussion: Thursday 15 October or Friday 16 October 2026


• Panel interviews: Monday 26 October or Tuesday 27 October 2026
