Enterprise Solution Architect

Role Description: Risk Intelligence develops critical services supporting anti-money laundering efforts in financial markets. We seek an Enterprise Solution Architect with technical expertise, attention to detail, and leadership skills to influence our technology strategy, ensuring compliance and data accuracy throughout the SDLC.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Support application development teams and solution architects in governance, privacy, compliance, and risk analysis.
  2. Review LSEG standards, provide feedback, and ensure alignment.
  3. Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain an architecture roadmap aligned with business goals.
  4. Maintain the technology risk register for the service portfolio.
  5. Work with Cyber, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure security and regulatory compliance.
  6. Assist Directors of Engineering in annual planning.
  7. Work with Senior Architects on shared service designs within Risk Intelligence.
  8. Support M&A activities.
  9. Manage service total cost of ownership models and projections.
  10. Provide data on tool usage, cloud adoption, and business capabilities to strategy departments.
  11. Ensure service data compliance in tools like LeanIX.
  12. Lead evaluation and adoption of new technologies.
  13. Conduct architecture reviews and recommend improvements.
  14. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
  15. Translate technical issues for non-technical audiences and vice versa.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  1. Experience delivering Application and Cloud Solution Architectures.
  2. Excellent communication skills with senior leadership and technical teams.
  3. Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  4. Knowledge of cloud patterns such as multi-tenancy, sharding, and CAP theorem.
  5. Understanding of polyglot persistence with SQL and NoSQL solutions.
  6. Experience with Enterprise Integration Patterns.
  7. Familiarity with authentication methods like SAML, OIDC, OAuth2.
  8. Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and high-availability systems.
  9. Awareness of GDPR, DORA, and ISO standards.
