What you'll be doing:

Reporting to Strategy and Architecture, you will analyze business strategies and operating models, communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels, and collaborate with technology, architecture, change, and operations experts.

You should understand engineering development and emerging technologies over the next 3-5 years, supporting innovation and helping others implement architectural thinking into practical solutions.

What we're looking for:

Business

• Purpose-led, customer-focused technology that enables growth, innovation, and cost simplification.
• Deep and broad expertise in multiple architectural domains.
• Understanding of technology capabilities to rationalize and simplify systems.
• Interest in emerging realms like AI, Quantum, and Metaverse, and their impact on DLG and data flow.
• End-to-end skills in architecture domains, focusing on applications and integration, with the ability to challenge existing models.
• Ability to craft compelling narratives around strategy and ensure delivery even through iterations.
• Experience with innovation and a startup mindset focused on growth and customer acquisition.
• Experience with complex architectures, including web applications (Java & Angular), iSeries, Mainframe, COTS, and multi-cloud strategies (AWS & Azure).

People

• Experience with interactions between people, processes, and technology.
• Financial and commercial acumen, linking business and technology solutions.
• Holistic view of organizational technology needs.
• Interest in the insurance industry and its future.
