Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

Amazon Kuiper is seeking an experienced, self-starting Sales professional to drive adoption of Kuiper services with enterprise customers in the DACH region across various verticals (e.g., Energy, Retail, Manufacturing, Media).

You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and managing complex deals with multiple key accounts, managing the sales lifecycle of complex cross-functional customers, and delivering impactful outcomes. You will define and execute sales strategies that align with product strategy with limited oversight, serve as a partner or thought leader for other teams, contribute to strategic documents like regional and vertical GTM and account plans, and report on forecasting and business impact.

This role requires the ability to significantly impact business metrics, close deals, and grow large opportunities. Note: This position may involve access to export-controlled information, requiring eligibility for export licenses from the U.S. government.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to building Amazon Kuiper service revenue, focusing on key European enterprise customers in the DACH region.
  2. Be customer-obsessed, understanding and working to meet customer needs and aspirations.
  3. Implement strategic and tactical sales initiatives, collaborating with internal stakeholders and teams.
  4. Support complex contract negotiations and business requirements to achieve results.
  5. Think strategically and analytically about business priorities, product, and technical challenges, delivering results across organizational boundaries.
  6. Gather and deliver customer feedback.
Basic Qualifications
  • Sales experience in the satellite industry with enterprise clients.
  • Fluency in German.
  • Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Experience in negotiating and executing business agreements.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior executives and partners.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the EMEA region.
  • Familiarity with SFDC.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and digital transformation trends.
  • Experience in data analysis and business recommendations.
  • Experience with complex legal agreements negotiation and execution.
