We are seeking a dedicated New Business Sales Manager to join our Environmental, Health and Safety Team. Reporting to the Head of New Business Sales, this role is pivotal in driving growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the SaaS sales and Quality and Safety Compliance sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in these domains and a passion for fostering new client relationships.

Location: UK - HOME BASED

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities to expand the business portfolio.
  • Develop and execute high-level sales initiatives for winning significant new accounts.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to establish trust and build strong relationships.
  • Lead complex sales negotiations, crafting deals that are strategically aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage a healthy pipeline of potential business opportunities, ensuring a consistent flow of new business.
  • Position the company effectively against competitors to secure new contracts and partnerships.

Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, employing effective lead generation strategies.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve targets and drive new business growth.
  • Ability to engage and build relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating high-value negotiations and partnerships.
  • Deal structuring and negotiation expertise: skilled in structuring deals and negotiating terms that align with strategic business objectives and client needs.
  • Competence in managing the sales pipeline, ensuring a healthy flow of opportunities and accurate sales forecasting.
  • Knowledge in positioning products/services strategically in the market and conducting competitive analysis to inform sales strategies.
  • Ability to effectively prospect and qualify leads to focus on high-potential business opportunities.
  • Expertise in solution-based selling, tailoring solutions to meet the specific challenges and needs of potential clients.
  • Ability to draft compelling proposals and sales agreements that reflect the value proposition and meet client expectations.
  • Skills in assessing potential risks in the sales process and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of communicating value propositions clearly and effectively.
  • Familiarity with the latest sales enablement tools and technologies.
