Job summary

Apollo, a Skyward Group company operating at Lloyd’s of London, is seeking a senior risk professional to lead the Enterprise Risk Management Framework across the business and its managed syndicates. You’ll work with underwriting, finance and operations to strengthen governance and risk culture.

Qualifications

• Significant Enterprise Risk Management experience in insurance or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and governance processes.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with data interpretation experience.
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions.
• Proficient in reporting and data tools (Excel/Power BI).
• Familiarity with GRC platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of Apollo's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• Own risk and control assessments, risk registers, and governance across Apollo and managed syndicates.
• Design and deliver risk reporting, insights and recommendations for Boards and senior stakeholders.
• Support stress testing, scenario analysis and capital model validation activities.
• Collaborate with underwriting, finance and operations to identify emerging risks and mitigations.
• Conduct thematic reviews and translate analysis into practical actions.
• Support regulatory compliance and ensure alignment to evolving requirements.
• Drive a strong risk culture through stakeholder engagement and coaching.
