Zusammenfassung

Funding Circle is seeking an Enterprise Risk Manager to join our team, focusing on oversight, governance, and driving the strategic execution of our Enterprise Risk management framework. With significant autonomy, you will influence risk across the business and support scaling.

You will lead KRIs, RCSAs, risk event management, and reporting to committees and the Board, coach analysts, and help mature risk culture through collaboration and continuous improvement of GRC tools.

Qualifikationen

• Proven, deep experience in Enterprise or Operational Risk Management within financial services, risk consultancies, or Big 4 environments.
• Experience in SME lending, fintech, or fast-paced digital lending environments is highly desirable.
• Typically 5+ years of relevant work experience in Enterprise or Operational Risk Management, with progression into managerial or senior advisory roles.
• Strong strategic acumen, problem-solving, and analytical skills with ability to translate risk concepts into business impacts.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills to influence senior management.
• Curiosity, good judgement, and ability to break down problems; interest in AI applications for risk roles.
• Hands-on expertise with Enterprise/Operational Risk Management tools and MS Office/Google Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, own outcomes, and mentor team members.

Aufgaben

• Lead and provide expert advice on complex enterprise and operational risk matters across the business.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to identify, evaluate, challenge, and manage key risks and controls.
• Build collaborative relationships to drive strategic risk initiatives and foster risk culture.
• Own core elements of the Enterprise Risk Management framework: KRIs, RCSAs, Operational Risk Event Management, risk committee management.
• Drive continuous improvement and scalability of risk governance tools and processes.
• Prepare and present high-quality risk reporting for Executive committees and Board documentation.
• Provide guidance and coaching to Risk Analysts/Senior Analysts to support development and outcomes.
• Track and challenge risk actions to ensure timely resolution by business owners.
