We\'re recruiting for an Enterprise & Operational Risk Manager to join us. As part of our Group Risk team, you\'ll play a key role in helping us manage enterprise and operational risk across the business, ensuring we continue to deliver for our customers, colleagues, and communities. Responsibilities
  • Supporting the delivery of risk oversight, training and assurance across Group Functions and Change initiatives
  • Leading or contributing to deep dives and lessons learned reviews on key risk events or themes
  • Providing insights into risk frameworks and controls using data analytics and risk management tools
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and second line teams
  • Supporting the assessment of operational risk capital requirements through data analysis and scenario workshops
  • Enhancing the quality and accuracy of risk data reported to boards, committees and regulators
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members while contributing to a positive team culture
  • Embedding Consumer Duty principles into risk management practices to ensure fair customer outcomes
Qualifications
  • Experience in enterprise or operational risk management, ideally within financial services
  • Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks, including IT and digital systems
  • Ability to analyse complex data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and build trust across teams
  • Expertise in assessing and challenging third-party and operational resilience risks, including supplier dependencies, concentration risks and continuity planning
  • Solid grasp of regulatory frameworks such as PRA/FCA, DORA, Consumer Duty, SS2/21, SS1/21, SYSC, GDPR and EBA guidelines, with experience applying them in practice
  • Experience reviewing supplier assurance documentation and risk mitigation plans, including those related to cloud and SaaS providers
  • Ability to support or challenge the mapping of important business services, impact tolerances and scenario testing as part of operational resilience planning
