Job summary
Michael Page Technology seeks an Interim Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimise enterprise network infrastructure across the UK and EMEA. You will support BAU operations and drive project delivery from our Derby HQ, with occasional travel to sites.
Required are CCNA (CCNP desirable), 5+ years in network engineering, Cisco expertise (routing/switching), and WAN/SD-WAN experience, plus firewall and VPN/IPsec skills. Inside IR35 contract for 6 months.
Qualifications
- CCNA certification minimum; CCNP desirable.
- 5+ years in network engineering.
- Strong Cisco routing and switching experience.
- Expertise in OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and routing protocols.
- Experience with WAN and SD-WAN solutions.
- Knowledge of VPN technologies, IPsec and network security.
- Experience with Cisco and/or Palo Alto firewall environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, support and optimise enterprise network infrastructure.
- Deliver BAU support and project delivery across UK/EMEA.
- Coordinate changes via ITIL-aligned processes.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- Travel to sites across the UK as required.
