Job summary

TPP (The Phoenix Partnership) is seeking a technically minded IT professional to manage enterprise server hardware, provide internal support for office devices, and lead security hardening across systems. The role includes vulnerability management, automation of software rollouts, and active participation in infrastructure improvements.

You will work with the Technical Operations team, with opportunities to expand into database administration, R&D and infrastructure engineering.

Qualifications

• Requires a technically minded individual with curiosity for latest software and hardware technologies.
• Achieved / predicted 2:1 or above in any discipline, or at least 1 year in a 2nd Line IT Support role.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and upgrade enterprise server and storage hardware.
• Provide internal support for office hardware including PCs, laptops and mobile devices.
• Conduct vulnerability management using scanning tools (e.g., Nessus) and remediation/automation of software rollout (Ninite/PDQ).
• Configure and monitor antivirus software and Mobile Device Management.
• Manage Firewall/Switch configurations, patching and upgrades.
• Administer Active Directory, Exchange Server and Office 365.
• Support video conferencing and enterprise phone systems; monitor resource availability (CPU, storage, network).
• Assist with infrastructure projects, testing new hardware/software, and audits at data centres during international travel.
