Enterprise Data Engineer – GCP, BigQuery
An Enterprise Data Engineer is required by Whitehall Resources for a permanent position with one of our international clients. This role offers hybrid working, with the flexibility to be based from offices in either Hampshire or Northern Dublin twice a week.
As an Enterprise Data Engineer, you’ll be part of a growing data and analytics function, contributing to the design, development, and optimisation of cloud-native data pipelines. The role has a core focus on data engineering (approximately 75%) while also offering exposure to data science projects (25%), including modernising sales forecasting processes.
Do you have?
* Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery?
* A background in data engineering, including building and maintaining scalable pipelines?
* Exposure to data science techniques and tools to support forecasting and analytics?
* The ability to move legacy processes (e.g., Excel-based models) to cloud-based, automated solutions?
* Strong SQL skills and experience working in enterprise-scale data environments?
* Familiarity with Cortex?
* Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills?
