Job summary

North Highland is seeking a Cyber Architect to translate vision into secure, scalable architecture for critical infrastructure. The role focuses on enterprise security standards, practical implementations, and risk-managed solutions for UK and international clients.

The position is onsite in London 1–3 days a week under a PAYE umbrella contract. You will design architecture, evaluate technologies, lead vendor discussions, and guide teams to implement secure, robust defenses while communicating

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in technology, cybersecurity, or computer science.
• Professional security architecture qualifications are required.
• Advanced cybersecurity certifications are preferred.
• Extensive experience designing security architectures across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive cybersecurity architectural solutions aligned with best practices and objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies balancing protection, performance, and cost.
• Lead vendor selection and manage service relationships for security excellence.
• Provide expert guidance on security practices across multiple platforms and environments.
• Translate business requirements into secure architectural designs with stakeholders.
• Mentor technical teams on security implementations and standards.
• Monitor emerging threats to keep defences current and effective.
• Communicate complex security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
