Position: Project Analyst

Your primary responsibility will be to serve as an agent of change within the organisation. You will leverage your specialised business analysis and change management skills, alongside a disciplined business analysis approach, to drive transformation. Your role will involve clearly articulating the need for change, assessing its impact and implications on the organisation, defining requirements, and recommending solutions while collaborating as part of a global project team.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the scoping of change initiatives, developing a clear definition of the business problem or opportunity to be met.
2. Identify and articulate business needs and stakeholder requirements, ensuring that vested stakeholder groups are consulted, and their perspectives considered, building consensus and ensuring that maximum value is delivered to stakeholders.
3. Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit and document requirements and business processes to achieve the desired future state.
4. Create and maintain documentation, including business process flows, use cases, and supporting models.
5. Work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
6. Support the adoption of business and IT changes and realization of business benefits.

Requirements:

1. You are passionate about the BA role and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or related field.
2. Experience in Financial Services; trading, investments, or brokerage, with a proven track record of working within highly regulated environments.
3. Detail-oriented with a curious mind and the ability to quickly assimilate information.
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to dive into detail and summarize effectively. Good understanding of industry-standard, structured analysis tools and techniques.
5. A good communicator with impactful communication skills (oral, written, and presentation), capable of articulating complex ideas to broad audiences and explaining complex business or technical ideas to unfamiliar audiences.
6. Confident in building and managing relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
7. A self-starter with a bias for action and the ability to adapt approach and working style as needed.
8. Good understanding of Business Change support activities would be advantageous.
9. Knowledge of CASS, GDPR, MiFID is desirable but not essential.
10. Relevant certifications: BCS Advanced International Diploma in Business Analysis.
