Job description

Lead on all IT design for delivery of business initiatives as well as creating a modern, flexible and sustainable IT landscape.

Responsible for identifying opportunities to reduce and remove Legacy IT technologies and helping to create technology roadmaps which give clear direction to deliver the business strategy as well as creating a more modern enterprise-grade IT estate.

Work with the Lead EA and wider architect team to ensure they are utilizing a common approach whilst contributing to the overall technology roadmap; and ensure the roadmap and EAs are supporting the feature roadmaps within the product teams of the vertical and horizontal functions.

Also responsible for definition, development, and governance of the Business architecture domains and supporting the design of end-to-end solutions in a way which enhances services to our members, optimizes operational efficiency, and shapes the future strategy of the enterprise.

Develop technology roadmaps whilst formulating and implementing an EA practice by working collaboratively with colleagues across different levels of seniority.

Knowledge & Qualifications:
  1. Sound knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF and PRINCE.
  2. An understanding of the Insurance sector or a similar market.
  3. Subject matter expertise within Business Definition Domain gained from an architecture environment.
  4. A strong awareness of business & architecture modeling.
  5. Good awareness of application, data, security, and modern IT architecture.
