Location: Remote, UK (occasional travel to London & Barcelona)

Org: PE Backed, Digital Solutions Business (circa 500 heads)

Salary: £100k Basic + Benefits Package (some potential flex)

About the role:

The first of its kind, and a greenfield opportunity for an experienced Enterprise Architect / Principal Architect to help a private equity backed Digital Solutions organisation that are enjoying fast growth and are heavily investing across their Technology estate.

This role will report directly into the CTO and will be accountable for the businesses Architecture processes and capability. This will be working with both an in-house team (circa 50) as well as an offshore team (100) to ensure scalability, reliability and helping the organisation achieve their technology plans.

Suited only to someone that has come from an Application/Integration background that’s used to complex Application / System estates. Accountability will cover all core functions (Business, Service, Ops, Apps, Cloud) but we’re not looking for a deep Infrastructure expert.

• Background in Engineering or Application Architecture that can operate in a business’s 1st EA role. Directly reporting to the CTO.
• Experienced in building, owning and refining 3–5-year roadmaps, ensuring Technology is aligned to the businesses goals.
• Experienced with Architecture tooling, and processes (even better if you’ve implemented from scratch).
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, ability to work with CxO.
• Operated in SME’s. Things move quickly within PE backed companies.

This role can be based anywhere in the UK. Occasional travel will be expected to locations such as London, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Coventry, Derby, Sheffield, Birmingham, Leicester, Gloucester, Oxford and more.
