Job summary

Arup is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead architecture work within the Architecture Service, shaping the firm’s Digital Technology Strategy. You will drive enterprise-wide architectural alignment across major programmes and collaborate with stakeholders, engineers and developers to deliver design artifacts.

You will contribute to strategic initiatives, promote architecture governance, and help optimize service quality and costs while enabling innovation and growth across Arup’s projects

Qualifications

  • recognised tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar area.
  • Enterprise Architecture & Solution Architecture experience within a consulting business environment.
  • Proficient in Enterprise Architecture modelling and diagramming software.

Responsibilities

  • accountable for delivery of significant and complex enterprise architecture activities or projects.
  • collaborate with stakeholders, engineers and developers to prepare architectural design documents and other artifacts.

We’re looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our Architecture Service within Arup. You will work at a strategic level to provide leadership in creating, maintaining and communicating the firm’s Digital Technology Strategy. You will play a key role in the firms most significant enterprise-wide digital programmes and projects to ensure that the architectures designed and delivered are aligned with its business vision and objectives.

  • Working as part of the Architecture team, and Digital Technology as a whole, you will be accountable for the delivery of significant and complex enterprise architecture activities or projects.
  • You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, engineers and developers to prepare architectural design documents and other artifacts that achieve design goals at an advanced level.
  • Identify architecture driven improvement to continually improve service quality and reduce costs.

Is this role right for you?
  • You will have a recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar area.
  • You will have relevant Enterprise Architecture & Solution Architecture experience within a consulting business environment.
  • You will be proficient in Enterprise Architecture modelling and diagramming software.
Relevant Experience In
  • Architecting solutions (TOGAF a preference) with a focus on business, data, application technology, infrastructure, security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Contributing to strategic initiatives.
  • Architecture modelling tools, techniques and processes, and an awareness of relevant industry techniques.
  • Senior stakeholder management.
