Job Description:

Description of Role and Client: The Enterprise Application Architect will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive architecture frameworks for a major insurance organization. The client seeks a highly skilled architect to ensure strategic alignment and robust integration across key enterprise applications and services. This role falls inside IR35.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain enterprise-wide application architecture frameworks.
2. Design strategic integration and API solutions for critical business applications.
3. Ensure architecture solutions embed security, risk management, and compliance practices.
4. Provide technical oversight for cloud (Azure, AWS) and on-premises integrations.
5. Engage effectively with stakeholders across diverse technical and business teams.

Candidate Requirements / Profile:

1. Expertise in application integrations, APIs, and architectural frameworks.
2. Knowledge of Oracle, Snowflake, data lakes, and extensive data warehouses.
3. Strong skills in security, risk management, and compliance.
4. Excellent stakeholder communication and engagement capabilities.
5. Onsite attendance three times weekly at the client's City of London office; additional onsite presence as required.
6. Contract duration: Initial 6-month term, with likely extension.
