The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for building client relationships with enterprise businesses within the Insurance sector. People who excel at this job have the ability to prospect, develop, and close business within a timely manner while focusing on the clients' requirements. The Enterprise AE must have the confidence and ability to negotiate and close agreements with clients and support new customers through our onboarding process.

AS AN ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
- Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts and/or territory quarterly and annually by developing a sales strategy with a target prospect list and regional sales plan.
- Develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth.
- Become a trusted advisor by understanding customers' IT roadmaps and promoting Snowflake solutions.
- Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
- Conduct initial discussions with executives and CxO level contacts.
- Manage the sales process and close opportunities.
- Ensure ongoing account management to maintain customer satisfaction and generate additional revenue.
- Utilize a solution-based approach to selling, managing complex sales processes with excellent communication and organizational skills.
OUR IDEAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE WILL HAVE:
- BA/BS degree required.
- 10+ years of field sales experience, preferably with a focus on data or cloud technology.
- At least 2 years of experience managing and scaling enterprise insurance customers.
- Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.
- Experience achieving over $1M in annual recurring revenue and conducting 8+ face-to-face meetings weekly.
- Focus on new business sales.
- Track record of consistent activity, pipeline development, and quota achievement.
- Ability to determine customer requirements and present suitable solutions.
- Proactive, independent, energetic, and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Understanding of the broader business drivers around IT.
