Zendesk is looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Executive, based in the UK, who will be responsible for customer acquisition, adoption, and growth within the enterprise segment. You will drive sales execution with accounts in your territory by establishing new executive-level relationships and cultivating existing relationships. The role requires collaborating and coordinating with senior management, customer success, professional services, and being a product subject matter authority.

You will be responsible for your own success within the territory, ensuring top-line growth through new logo acquisition and customer adoption, while providing the best sales experience for our customers and prospects.

You should have experience engaging at the senior level and possess a sales background that enables easy interaction with clients and team members. Additionally, you should be able to think strategically about customer businesses, product, and technical challenges, and build compelling value propositions that differentiate Zendesk's offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Create new relationships and close new business within organizations.
  • Manage and develop a subset of Zendesk Enterprise clients.
  • Partner with Business Development, Customer Success, and marketing; coordinate account planning.
  • Develop strategies and objectives for each account to align and facilitate best practices and identify business opportunities.
  • Be the ultimate point of accountability for customer issues and opportunities.
  • Track and execute activities to ensure deals progress through the buyer's journey to successful outcomes.
  • Advise and influence customers through consultative selling techniques.
  • Collaborate with team colleagues to support a unified team approach.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience selling to VP & C-level executives in enterprise organizations.
  • 8-12 years of SaaS software sales experience.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience leading and closing complex sales cycles using solution selling techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • High ethical standards, accountability, customer-centricity, authenticity, and curiosity to learn.
