Overview

We are seeking dedicated and experienced ENT (Ear, Throat and Nose) Specialists to join our team and provide a comprehensive range of ENT services to NHS patients referred by local GPs at the highest level of care.

The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering clinical triage, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advice for patients with ENT conditions. Additionally, they will play a key role in maintaining clinical competence, ensuring patient confidentiality, and adhering to professional standards and guidelines set forth by regulatory bodies.

Main duties
  • Conduct clinical triage for all ENT referrals, ensuring appropriate onward referral to secondary care when necessary.
  • Perform comprehensive clinical assessments of patients with ENT conditions.
  • Provide diagnosis, treatment, and advice for acute ENT conditions in accordance with local referral guidelines.
  • Offer advice, treatment, and support for self-management of ENT conditions, promoting patient empowerment and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and timely record-keeping using clinical software and agreed-upon coding systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with referring GPs to enhance clinical awareness and promote seamless patient care.
  • Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks, including the timely reporting of significant events and participation in Clinical Governance Meetings.

CommunitasClinics is seeking an experienced and dedicated ENT Consultant to lead the clinicalprovision of our growing Intermediate ENT Services. This role has beendeveloped to address the increasing demand for Tier 3 community ENT services,and the ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the clinicaldelivery across our existing ENT contracts.

The successfulcandidate will work closely with our Clinical Director to ensure the higheststandards of clinical governance, overseeing the clinical aspects of theservice while ensuring alignment with national clinical developments andguidelines. You will have the opportunity to provide clinical leadership, offerpeer support, and contribute to the professional development of our ENTclinical team.
