Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced ENT Consultant to join our forward-thinking and collaborative team based across Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped department delivering a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services.
The agreed post is for one year with a view to a substantive agreement if both parties mutually agree. This post offers a 10 PA job plan with a flexible working structure, supported professional activities, and a strong commitment to education, research, and clinical governance.
You'll be expected to contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, audit and service development initiatives, and provide high-quality patient care. Essential qualifications include Registered Medical Practitioner, with full registration with the GMC, or within 6 months of being included on the register at the time of interview. FRCS or equivalent, Clinical Fellowship or sub-specialty training, and Certificate of Medical Education.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
