Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent professional experience in a relevant science discipline.
• Proficiency in the Python programming language.
• Strong quantitative and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a new ensemble ocean temperature profile dataset.
• Work with the US-led team to translate datasets into ensemble estimates of ocean heat uptake.
• Contribute to surface temperature and sea-level rise projections with Met Office Hadley Centre and IIASA.
• Collaborate across project areas including mechanistic analysis of ocean heat and freshwater content change.
