Are you an ENP (Emergency Nurse Practitioner) Nurse looking to pick up shifts around the Cinderford/Gloucestershire area? We have access to ad-hoc and block bookings at competitive hourly pay rates from £54 per hour.

Roles of an ENP
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients, often in the ‘Minors’ area of the department.
  • Work within guidelines set with the clinical lead of an emergency department.
  • Responsibilities may include:
    • Patient assessment, including pain management
    • Diagnosing issues such as sprains, strains, cuts, bites; providing medication and treating minor injuries including burns and wounds
    • Reading and assessing X-rays
    • Administering medications, including antibiotics
    • Recording ECG examinations
    • Discharging patients when appropriate
ENP Role requirements
  • NMC registration
  • Recent 6 months experience in the last 12 months
  • Evidence of completion of v300 prescribing certificate
  • Full EPP clearance of immunisations
  • Two clinical references demonstrating ENP skills
