Are you an ENP (Emergency Nurse Practitioner) Nurse looking to pick up shifts around the Bolton area? We have access to ad-hoc and block bookings at competitive hourly pay rates from £37.00 to £50.88 per hour.

Roles of an ENP

ENPs assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients, often in the ‘Minors’ area of the department. They work within guidelines set with the clinical lead of an emergency department. Responsibilities may include:

  • Patient assessment, including pain management
  • Diagnosing issues such as sprains, strains, cuts, and bites, administering medication orally or via injection, and treating minor injuries including burns and wounds
  • Reading and interpreting X-rays
  • Administering medications, including antibiotics
  • Recording ECG examinations
  • Discharging patients when appropriate

ENP Role requirements

  • NMC registration
  • Recent 6 months of experience within the last 12 months
  • Evidence of completion of v300 prescribing certificate
  • Full EPP clearance for immunisations
  • Two clinical references demonstrating your ENP skills
