Job description

Role overview:

  • This service goes beyond providing young people with shelter; it aims to offer a safe, inclusive home environment and support them in reaching their potential, transitioning into independent living, and engaging in employment or education.
  • You will provide day-to-day emotional and practical support to motivate and empower young people towards independence.
  • You will offer support and advice aligned with support plans and as requested by the young person's keyworker, working collaboratively within a team that values diversity and creative thinking.

  • The ability to engage effectively and build strong relationships with young people, understanding the impacts of homelessness, domestic abuse, and trauma.
  • A proactive mindset towards crisis response.
  • The ability to stay calm and composed in challenging and traumatic situations.
