Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust
United Kingdom
GBP 22,000 - 30,000
Job description
Job summary

Are you passionate about the care patients with mental health conditions receive? Would you welcome training to gain insight into mental health conditions and to be a champion for this patient group?

You may want to work in an inpatient setting but find the shift patterns difficult to accommodate around your life outside of work. This role offers flexibility in shift times and patterns to make it work.

We are a newly established team that supports the care of patients with a Mental Health diagnosis and concerns on our Generalist and Specialist Inpatient Wards in the following locations: Norwich, Dereham, Kelling, Wymondham, Swaffham, and North Walsham.

You will work with our teams in NCH&C, our dedicated Mental Health nurse, patients, and their families to deliver care plans that give the best possible patient experience and outcomes.

To support you, you will be able to devise your own working pattern with the team, which does not have to fit with the normal clinical shift patterns. You will be based on a "home" ward but be expected to travel to different locations in Norfolk to support teams with patients that need your expertise. To fulfill the requirements of the role, you will need a full driving license and to be able to make your own travel arrangements. If you wish to claim mileage, having business insurance is essential.

Please note: Previous applicants need not apply.

Main duties of the job

  1. To support inpatient teams in geographical locations across Norfolk.
