Enhanced Security Officer (ESO) - Hinkley Point C

We are recruiting for Enhanced Security Officers to work on our prestigious contract at Hinkley Point C in Somerset.

Pay Rate: £ per hour. Average 42 hours per week, based on a 12-hour rotating shift pattern covering days, nights, and weekends.

Role Overview: Enhanced Security Officers play a vital role in protecting premises, assets, personnel, and visitors. They project a commanding and professional security presence, conduct vehicle and personnel checks, patrol the site, operate security equipment, respond to incidents, and liaise with emergency services, all while prioritizing health and safety.

Qualifications: Valid SIA Licence (Security Guard level or above). Previous security experience is desirable but not essential.

Your Responsibilities:

• Comply with all health & safety procedures
• Conduct delivery vehicle and personnel checks
• Escalate issues appropriately
• Perform site patrols and search procedures
• Respond to incidents and produce reports
• Liaise with emergency services
• Operate and report on security equipment

Ideal Candidate:

Educational background in Maths, English, and IT. Entry-level IT qualifications are a plus. Experience in a security or critical infrastructure environment is preferred. Must hold a valid SIA Licence, UK Driving Licence, and be able to pass security vetting.

Training & Development:

Includes BPSS, CSCS, D&A testing, site inductions, and other certifications as required.
