A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Band 7 Enhanced Clinical Practitioner for their Breast, Endocrine, Skin & Sarcoma team in Bournemouth. This role involves conducting nurse-led clinics, supporting breast surgeons, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings. Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Enhanced Clinical Practitioner (ECP) or a Band 6 trainee ECP (progression role to Band 7 upon attainment of ECP qualification & required competencies) to join our teams within the Breast, Endocrine, Skin & Sarcoma team.

The post is primarily based at Bournemouth, with cross-site working to other University Hospitals Dorset locations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for nurse-led new patient and follow-up clinics, supporting consultant breast surgeons, and playing a key role in nurse-led follow-up for breast service patients at University Hospitals Dorset. The role involves coordinating and participating in MDT meetings, as well as providing support and training to inpatient and primary care services.

We seek an energetic nurse capable of working autonomously in an enhanced practice role, with a passion for improving breast patient care. Prior experience in medical/surgical oncology is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, motivated to learn, and possess excellent communication and team-working skills.
