Job description

South East England, Berkshire, Wokingham

Temporary, Part-Time hours

£20 - £30 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored English tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs
  • Assist students in improving their reading, writing, and comprehension skills
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
  • Monitor and track student progress
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working with students with SEN
  • Strong knowledge of English language and literature
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or related field
  • Previous experience as an English tutor, particularly with SEN students
  • Demonstrated understanding of SEN teaching methods
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Experience working in a school or educational setting

This role involves working with students in an educational setting, adapting to different learning needs and environments. Part-time hours are expected, with flexibility in scheduling.
