Learning Curve Group is seeking a part-time English Tutor to support learners nationwide in delivering GCSE and Functional Skills English. You will assess learners, plan tailored lessons, and maintain learning documents while collaborating with the Maths & English division.

You will join a supportive team with a focus on safeguarding, CPD, and flexible working arrangements. The role includes a 9.5-hour week with one onsite day and two hours of admin from home.

Qualifications

• Qualified English tutor (at least a L3 subject specialism).
• Minimum of 2 years delivery experience.
• Hold a PTTLs/AET (or equivalent).

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging GCSE and Functional Skills English sessions.
• Assess each learner's starting point and identify development needs.
• Plan and deliver tailored learning experiences that meet internal and external expectations.
• Complete Individual Learning Plans with SMART targets and regular review points.
• Complete administrative tasks including learner registers and performance documentation.
• Collaborate with vocational colleagues to support learner retention, achievement and progression.
