Salary range: GBP29,466 - GBP40,633 per annum
(This role attracts a Responsibility Allowance for the additional responsibility of English Lead, equating to GBP3,000 per annum)

Brantwood Specialist School, located on the outskirts of Sheffield, offers a dynamic outdoor land and craft-based curriculum, including clay work, jewellery making, felting, weaving, forge work, and green woodwork. The school is part of Ruskin Mill Trust and provides full-time education for children with significant social, emotional, or educational difficulties, emphasizing practical skills, biodynamic gardening, and animal care.
We seek a Special Education Teacher and subject leader specializing in Literacy. The role involves planning, coordinating, and quality assuring the Literacy/English curriculum across the school, ensuring consistent, engaging, and therapeutic learning experiences that promote student achievement.

Experience required: 1 year in English/Literacy leadership, working with multiple key stages, preparing students for assessments, and in special education (preferred).
