Your new role
We have an exciting opportunity for a secondary English teacher in the heart of Exeter on a long-term or permanent basis. Exeter is a wonderful city, within 20 minutes from some beautiful beaches, so this could be the ideal opportunity for someone looking for a change in location. This is ideally a full-time position starting asap, however, a part-time work pattern would also be considered. This position is suitable for NQTs/ECTs and qualified teachers with experience teaching English within a secondary setting who value innovation and creativity. We will support you throughout this role and find you a new position at the end of the contract if necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
- An open-minded and enthusiastic approach to education
- Bachelor's degree in English or any other related field.
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching qualifications.
- Proven experience of teaching English at the secondary or higher education level.
- Strong subject knowledge
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
