English Teacher/Specialist
Protocol Education are working with an alternative provision in the Swindon area and are looking for a Teacher of English/English Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a school that is committed to empowering young people to thrive, reach their potential and make a massive impact on their lives and education.
Hours: 08.30 - 16.00 (15.00 on Fridays)
Employment Type: Full time. Part time would be considered.
Pay: Dependent on experience. QTS/ECT paid to scale.
The school works hard to enable students who come through the provision to make better educational and life decisions. The school provides an opportunity to rebuild, reset and restart their journey in education through providing them with the skills to be prepared for the challenges they will face moving back into mainstream education and beyond.
Due to the nature of the school, the students do have a range of SEMH and challenging behaviours. Experience working in a similar environment, or with similar behaviours in some capacity is preferred, but not essential.
The ideal candidate will:
To be successful in the role, you need to have personality, a good sense of humour and the ability to form trusting relationships with young people with challenging behaviours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
