Salary:£140 - £200 per day

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate Secondary English Teacher to join a lively and engaged school in Shrewsbury. In this role, you will teach KS3 and KS4 pupils, delivering inspiring lessons that challenge and support learners, foster a love of literature, and encourage critical thinking. You’ll also contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care, helping students thrive academically and personally.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Teaching English to KS3 and KS4 pupils in an engaging and dynamic school environment

  • Planning and delivering lessons that challenge and support learners of all abilities

  • Encouraging critical thinking, debate, and a passion for literature

  • Participating in wider school activities such as clubs, trips, and enrichment programs

  • Supporting pastoral care and promoting strong values through character education

As an English Teacher here, you’ll inspire inquisitive learners, ignite their imagination, and develop essential skills in critical thinking, self-assurance, communication, and lifelong learning.

What We’re Looking For:
  • UK QTS or equivalent qualification
