Role Overview
  • Position: English Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
  • Location: Leeds and surrounding areas
  • Start Date: Immediate and ongoing opportunities
  • Contract Type: Temporary (full-time or part-time)
  • Pay Rate: £150 to £223 per day, based on experience and assignment
Must-Haves for the Role

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 experience is advantageous)
  • Strong written and spoken English skills, with the ability to model high standards of literacy
  • Excellent subject knowledge of English Language and Literature
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment
  • Up-to-date understanding of the UK National Curriculum
  • Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Two professional references covering the last two years of employment or education
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
