What You'll Do:

• Plan and teach fun English lessons that everyone can enjoy.
• Make sure all students feel welcome and included in class.
• Help students get better at English and give them feedback on how they're doing.
• Share your love of reading and writing with your students.
• Work with other teachers to make sure lessons are exciting and helpful.
• Keep track of how well students are doing and who’s coming to class.
• Talk to students, parents, and other teachers about how things are going.

What You'll Get:

• Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level, preferably in a diverse urban setting.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for English and assessment practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective classroom management skills and the ability to establish a positive learning environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
