JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Teacher - Post-Primary
REPORTS TO: Principal

Schedule 3, Regulation 5
This job description is subject to review and may include other duties. The post-holder is expected to promote equality and good relations in accordance with legislation.
Qualifications: Recognized teaching qualification, degree Level 6 in English.
Experience: At least one year of teaching English at Key Stage Three and Four.
Registration: Must be registered with GTCNI before employment.
Knowledge of the NI Curriculum, Safeguarding, SEND Code of Practice, assessment methods; ability to teach and manage classrooms; collaborative skills; alignment with school ethos.
Experience teaching English Literature at Key Stage Four and Five; teaching Essential Skills Communication.
