Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Temporary to Permanent (for the successful candidate)

Are you a passionate and qualified English Teacher looking for a meaningful role in a specialist educational environment?
Teaching Personnel is proud to be supporting a well-regarded post-16 SEND provision in Plymouth in their search for an English Teacher to work 1:1 with students who have additional learning needs.

The Role:

Deliver tailored 1:1 English lessons to students aged 16+ with SEND

Plan and adapt engaging content to suit individual learning styles and EHCP targets

Work closely with support staff and SENCOs to monitor progress and maintain a supportive learning environment

Foster student confidence, communication, and independence through literacy

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)

Experience teaching students with SEND or in an alternative provision (preferred but not essential)

A nurturing, patient approach and a genuine passion for inclusive education

Strong communication and planning skills
