Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking an ambitious English Teacher for KS3 and KS4 within a collaborative English Department. This temporary fixed-term role offers scale-matched pay (£140 - £233 per day) and an immediate or next-term start, with access to bespoke CPD and streamlined planning to reduce burnout.

You will deliver lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and GCSE specifications, act as a Form Tutor, and contribute to a culture of shared schemes of work and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• QTS is mandatory for this role.
• Degree in English (BA/MA) required.
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting.
• A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) and safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and GCSE English specifications.
• Use assessment data to monitor and boost student progress.
• Maintain a focused, inclusive learning environment with effective behaviour management.
• Act as Form Tutor and support student wellbeing.
