Job summary

Philosophy Education LTD. partners with a large secondary school in Enfield to recruit an English Teacher on a long-term, full-time basis starting January 2027.

The role covers KS3 and KS4 English with some marking and potential to cover lessons in other subjects where needed.

We are currently working with a large secondary school in Enfield who are looking for a English Teacher to join their school on a long-term basis from January.

The Role

This English Teacher post will require teaching KS3 & KS4 English lessons, with some marking but no planning involved. The successfulcandidates may also be asked to cover lessons, in other subject areas, if the needarises.

The school are looking for an English teacher with the following:

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
• Previous experience teaching English within a secondary school
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to people at all levels
• A proactive and engaging teaching approach
• Good classroom management
