English Teacher Position

I am seeking an experienced English teacher for short-term, long-term, or permanent positions. We work with multiple secondary schools throughout Wigan and are in need of quality teachers with strong experience and subject knowledge. We can assist you in finding the ideal role and provide support and guidance throughout the process.

In this teaching role, classroom presence and management are important, and good communication skills are vital for success. Responsibilities include planning, preparing, and marking, so experience in these areas is preferred. Most importantly, you should be confident in your ability to conduct lessons using your subject knowledge and adapt lessons to students' abilities.

Requirements:

• QTS with English specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication skills
