This school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for students with special educational needs, ensuring that each child receives a tailored education that meets their individual requirements. This role is temporary initially, with the potential to be permanent based on fit and performance.

About the Role: As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students with a range of special educational needs. You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of your students, helping them to achieve their full potential. You will also be responsible for assessing and tracking student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents, and working closely with other staff members to support the overall development of the students.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching English, preferably within an SEN setting.
  • A strong understanding of special educational needs and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
