Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our team at a PRU in Salford. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a crucial role in supporting students' learning and development, helping them to overcome barriers to education and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to the needs of individual students.
2. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
3. Develop and implement strategies to engage and motivate students.
4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
5. Support students' social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviour and attitudes.
6. Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
3. Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students in a PRU setting.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
