Job Description:

Role: English Teacher for a September Start

Requirements: QTS and experience teaching English

Hours: September - Permanent

Simply Education is working with a new SEMH Secondary School in Accrington supporting young people aged 7-16 with social and emotional difficulties, anxiety, and mental health needs. They are seeking an English Teacher to start in September, capable of educating pupils with additional SEMH needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging English literature and language lessons
  • Setting assignments to develop students' writing abilities
  • Tracking progress and tailoring lessons to students' needs
  • Providing feedback to improve students' skills
  • Creating a supportive English classroom environment

Requirements:

  • QTS and experience teaching English to students
  • Passion for English literature and language
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour skills
