Pay: £160 – £210 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: Immediate

The Role – English Teacher:
As an English Teacher at this school, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and helping students develop critical skills for their future. Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, guiding them through a dynamic curriculum that includes literature, writing, grammar, and language analysis.
• Creating engaging, interactive lessons that challenge students to think critically, express themselves confidently, and develop a lifelong love for reading and writing.
• Maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported to reach their full potential.
• Collaborating with a strong, dedicated English team to share resources, ideas, and best practices, ensuring continuous improvement of teaching strategies.
• Providing personalised support to students, helping them grow not only academically but as confident, capable individuals.

The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a motivated and passionate English teacher who:

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), PGCE, or an equivalent qualification in English or a related field.
• Has a strong understanding of English literature, language, and writing, with the ability to teach students at varying levels of ability.
• Brings enthusiasm and creativity to lessons, inspiring students to engage with and appreciate the subject.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with students, fostering an environment of respect and motivation.
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the update service or is willing to obtain one through Smile Education.
